Ebay nightmare, buyer scamming me and ebay not helping, what can I do?
I placed three items for bid for the first time ever--for each item, I was scammed by the individual buyers, 1 from Fresno, 1 from Florida and 1 from Australia. I received three emails stating payment was sent to paypal. No record of payment has been received by paypal. I forwarded the emails to both ebay and paypal. Both confirmed the emails were spoofs or phishing. Yet, I cannot get ebay to rectify the problem by dealing with the false buyers. Two of the buyers have agreed to end bid after they realized I caught onto their scam. The one from Australia refuses to cancel the transaction. The ebay operators do not seem to understand English and they provide little help. Anyone have suggestions what else I can do at this point to keep my record clean and to end once and for all my selling nightmare?
