Will my neighbors hear my kids?

I moved into a townhouse recently. i have 2 kids that play and run. the townhouses are divided by cinder block covered with drywall, so i know the neighbors don't hear the kids yelling. but if they run into a wall will that sound transmit? remember, it is cinder block, but when my kids run into a wall I hear it on my side like a hollow thump!
