How should I store my motorcycle at my garageless house?

I want to stay on a reasonable budget, I have see the Cycle Shells and they look perfect but they are a bit costly, Also I have nothing but grass to work with unless I park it on the street. I have Considered burying a cinder block in the dirt and using a motorcycle cover but I am hoping to come up with something a little more convinient. Has anbody constructed a small deck with a tarp attatched to one side or have any other suggestions for quick easy daily storage of my bike. I have access to a garage for winter so thats not a concern but all input is appreciated. Thanks
