How can i keep my cat away from my parakeet?

I love my cat and my parakeet but the cat does not like the parakeet,spoof but spoof likes spooky the cat why does the dog and cat get along but not the bird anyway how can i get spoof and spooky to stop fighting.do not say get rid of them i will keep them
