How deep would my pool have to be to jump off a 5 ft wall into it?

I want to jump off my cinder block wall that runs the perimeter of my backyard, into my pool. Its a real shallow pool all around, the spot i would do it is only about 4 ft probably. How deep would you recommend for a cannonball or something?
