Is everyone watching a different film to me?

I recently watched the film Insidious, "scariest film ever", "left people terrified"... and to me it was a extremely bad attempt to a 80's halloween spoof. It sucked dog sh*t, not one bit was scary, the acting and costumes were below average and the effects were terrible. Rated 7.2? By who. Made by Saw and Paranormal Activity, the caterers?. My question is, did i watch a different film to everyone else?
