Know another way to loft a dorm bed besides cinder blocks?

At my college they don't give out bed lofts (I'm not talking about risers, I want to fit a futon under my bed) and the only way I know of lofting it is to put it on cinder blocks. Does anyone know of a different way I can loft my bed?
