What was your Middle School Makeup experience?

At my middle school in FL. the girls always caked on he makeup! Literally, bunches of foundation, thick eyeliner and heavy lashes. The lips weren't bad but wanted to know if anybody else's school was like this because for me it's kinda the norm. Of course, there were some girls who didn't wear makeup or made it look pretty natural and stuff. What kind of makeup did the girls wear in your school? What age did you start? Just wondering :)
